When her Grandparents picked Margaret up, she was crying... she refused to eat any food and she refused to drink her bottle.
On the way home she fell asleep in the car so I didn't get to comfort her any before her nap. And she snuffed (you know after they cry too hard- that involuntary inhale) for an hour and a half while she slept. She wasn't even that upset after the ER IVs.
Ugh. I hate this. I feel so guilty. And we have big problems if she won't take her bottle from the daycare workers....

Oh gosh. Her and Liam are so alike. I am sad for you but laughing too because your post is almost identical to our first day of daycare last week. (The screaming that was audible before I got to the front door).
Just remember it will be tough for her at first but like my husband told me, thousands of other children have gone through the same experience with no long-term ill effects. I freak out too about the not eating but we have to remember when they get hungry enough they will. And you are doing this because you HAVE TO REST. Don't forget that. When you ask Margaret in 16 yrs if you did the right thing putting her in daycare while you were on bedrest, she will without a doubt say yes Mommy you did the RIGHT thing to give my little bro' a chance to get bigger.
Take care. We will get through this!
This seems harsh for her right now but is only temporary and is life critical for baby boy. She will appreciate and love you and David more when she finds out why later in her life.
